Since 2015, Zedd has been hosting annual shows at the notorious Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, leaving out 2020 due to COVID-19. This year 2022 were his 9th and 10th sold-out shows at the venue, leaving a historical statement on the Bay Area, Bill Graham, and his fanbase. I was able to speak to a lot of people about this show, some paid over 180 dollars for a single ticket and a handful of attendees even made the journey up from Southern California. The hype for this show was absolutely wicked, nothing like I have ever seen before. Note too that typical 2-day festival tickets retail for around 160 dollars.

Zedd is one of the biggest EDM DJs and has been producing since the late 2000s. His greatest album Clarity, which was released in 2012, turned 10 years old this year (time really flies). For this years shows, he initially only announced one singular show, but quickly after that had sold out, he added another show for the prior day. But this ‘second’ show was going to be his Clarity special set, where he would play the entirety of Clarity and more surprises. These shows quickly became the most highly anticipated shows of 2022.
